SAN RAMON—November 29, 2011—Seventeen Magazine “Pretty Amazing” Teen finalist Lauren Lindberg returns to her hometown of Danville to address middle school girls at the Soroptimist International of the San Ramon Valley’s eighth-annual She’s All That conference on Saturday, February 11 at San Ramon Valley High School in Danville.

Lindberg says, “There are so many girls today that don’t feel like they don’t have a voice, and I want to let them know that there is always a way out. Because I was able to overcome my struggles, I have realized how important it is to get my message out and stress the importance of finding and exploring your passion.”

Following Lindberg’s presentation, girls will attend three workshops from a list that includes sessions ranging in topic from talking to boys, self defense, relating to parents, hip hop, cyber safety and personal style. Christine Arylo and Amy Ahlers, co-founders of the Inner Mean Girl Reform School, will present a workshop for girls to help them to stop being so hard on themselves and to create stronger, non-competitive relationships with other girls.
